I am a registered dietitian and the founder of Top Balance Nutrition. My areas of specialty include weight-related concerns, complex medical conditions, sports nutrition, as well as general nutrition matters.
I feel a special connection to each of my clients as my career in nutrition started with a weight loss of over seventy pounds. This transformation proved to be so powerful that I chose to leave the Upstate Medical University at Syracuse as a third year medical student in order to study Clinical Nutrition at New York University..
Since then, I have completed my Dietetic Residency at New York University Langone Medical Center and am an active member of the American Dietetic Association (Nutrition Entrepreneurs, Weight Management, Behavioral Health, and Vegetarian Nutrition practice groups), the Greater New York Dietetic Association, and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
In order to make nutrition counseling affordable to all, I accept most major health insurance including Aetna, Oxford Freedom, United Healthcare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and others.
I live with my husband and enjoy cooking and hosting small parties, reading, and meeting new people.
